Every implant treatment at California Dental Implants Specialists starts the same way: a consultation that tells you, plainly, whether implants are right for you, what treatment would involve, and what it would cost.
The visit includes an exam and X-rays, and a CT scan — priced separately — maps bone volume and anatomy so your doctor can plan the implant's position rather than guess at it. It ends with a written plan that separates every component — implant post, abutment, crown, and any preparatory work — so there are no surprises later.
The consultation is also how you use our $699 dental implant offer. $699 covers the titanium implant post, the implant consultation exam, and X-rays; the CT scan, abutment, crown, and sedation are priced separately and appear as their own line items in your plan.
How it works
Reach out
Call or send the contact form and choose the office that suits you — Huntington Beach, Pacifica, Marina del Rey, or Downey.
Health history and goals
We review your medical and dental history, medications, and what you want treatment to achieve — from replacing one tooth to leaving dentures behind.
Exam and imaging
Your doctor examines your mouth and reviews imaging of your bone, nerves, and sinuses to see what your anatomy supports.
Treatment discussion
You and the doctor walk through the options that genuinely fit your case — single implant, bridge, overdenture, or full-arch — with their trade-offs.
Written plan and pricing
You leave with an itemized plan, a realistic timeline, and financing options if you want them. What happens next is up to you.
Who it's for
A consultation is the right first step for anyone missing a tooth, facing an extraction, struggling with loose dentures, or comparing implant quotes from other offices. It is especially worthwhile if you have been told elsewhere that you “don’t have enough bone” — imaging often reveals more options than expected.
Recovery
A consultation is an exam and a conversation — there is no procedure and nothing to recover from. If you decide to move forward, your written plan will spell out exactly what healing looks like for your specific treatment.
Honest limitations
The honest caveats about a consultation are simple: it may reveal that you need preparatory work — such as gum therapy, an extraction, or bone grafting — before an implant is safe to place, and in some cases the best recommendation is not an implant at all. Sometimes saving a natural tooth or choosing another restoration makes more practical and financial sense, and if that is true for you, we will say so.
